Ashley Scott comes to the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency from the Alberta Lamb Producers (ALP) where she held the Executive Director role for nearly 5 years. During her time with ALP she spearheaded initiatives to support and promote the local lamb industry.
Ashley’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and her dedication to the lamb sector earned her recognition within industry, as she continually strived to create opportunities for local farmers, and worked tirelessly to ensure the longevity and success of lamb producers in Alberta.
As a firm believer in continuing education, with a passion for on-going personal growth and professional development, she holds a Non-profit Management Extension Certificate and a Human Resource Management Certificate from Mount Royal University.
With a background of working predominately in the non-profit sector, coupled with her human resource management skills, Ashley brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to her role at the CCIA.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ashley is an avid camping enthusiast, finding solace in nature and the great outdoors, anywhere from fishing, quadding through the mountains or relaxing in front of the fire. She cherishes quality time spent with her family and friends and enjoys engaging in activities such as ringette, bowling and taking her dogs to play fetch at the off-leash park.
